Instead of having the Liver Mush Festival, we’re giving away a grand prize valued at $1000 for our Liver Mush Video contest. This festival was started over 30 years ago by Mack’s Liver Mush right here in Shelby, NC.  For the past 30 years it’s never been canceled. As disappointed as we are, nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of each of you as well as our vendors, staff and volunteers.   BUT we are still planning to have some fun together AND give away $1100 in cash plus great festival swag from Uptown Shirt Factory and other great prizes from local businesses!

 Judges' Choice Award: $1000+ Total Value

Since these judges can’t select based on taste, they will use their eyes, ears and experience to determine a winner based on presentation, creativity, recipe/ingredients.

Only applicants/videos that use Mack’s Liver Mush in their video and show the product label will qualify for this award.  The winner will be selected by Mack’s Liver Mush.

Audience Choice Award: $300 Value

The video that gets the most views on their Facebook video will be declared the winner of this category.  SO, as soon as we post your video on our Facebook page, be sure to share your video and ask your friends to view it and to share it also.  The sooner your entry is received, the more time you have for it to be shared.  This award will be based on what you prepare as well as the video itself.  Creativity and entertainment can both serve you well! This is your moment to shine!  Most importantly, have fun!

1.   Create a video where you prepare a homemade dish with Liver Mush as the star
2.   Introduce yourself and the dish
3.   Include the recipe and cooking instructions
4.   Chef’s Choice Award.  Since these chefs can’t judge on taste, they will use their eyes, ears and experience to determine a winner based on presentation, creativity, recipe/ingredients. 
5.   There will also be an Audience Choice Award – that one can be based on the recipe as well as the video itself.

12.   Audience Choice Voting will happen through October 15th. So be sure to share your video and encourage your friends and family to share your video.
13.   Chef’s Choice and Mack's Liver Mush Awards will be determined October 16th.
14.   Join us Saturday, October 17th on NC Liver Mush Festival: Mush, Music & Mutts Facebook page for the announcements of all of the winners via Facebook Live.
