Make sure to take note of hour changes or temporary closures! Contact your favorite attraction to see if they are open and any new rules to keep guests safe during a visit

Biographical Info

Completed in 2016, Shelby’s growing First Broad River Trail is quickly expanding to offer a wealth of scenic views that tie back into the City’s Historic Uptown District. Beginning at the Twin Trestle Trailhead, the trail’s main entry point features a freshly landscaped 30-acre field and historic train trestle measuring 600 feet long and 60 feet tall. Amenities currently include natural walking trails, parking and canoe/kayak launch.
